Our story

Ankine is a small house in Deir Dalloum, Akkar. Ankine and her daughter grow what they can in their garden and turn it, by hand, into the provisions the women here have always made.

The vegetables and fruit come from our own garden, the rest from neighbours in the village. We know where everything in the jar came from.

All of it is made at home, over a slow flame, with no preservatives and no colouring. It takes longer, but that is where the taste comes from.
